Mara G. Haseltine will give talk for “Green Renter” series at Green Arts Energy and Education Center Solar1 about her artistic quest to design to the ultimate oyster reef for the ‘New York City Oyster’. Haseltine will discuss how she has worked with a team marine biologists and ecologists to experiment and create the first solar powered oyster reef in New York City this past June as well as reef designs that combine science/technology and traditional methodology to create oyster reef habitat .
