The Medtronics Award: given by the Society for Women’s Health to an outstanding female scientist which includes a trophy designed by Mara G. Haseltine in the shape of Estrogen in particular the estraziol benzoate molecule, as well as seventy-five thousand dollars. This year the award was given to Dr. Marisa Bartolomei, Ph.D on May 8th, 2006.
